Expectoration
Thanks to the stranger lady whose act has contributed to one of the worst article i could imagine of writing..
Some of the ''so called" patriotic citizens (as i would like to address them) of India are so devoted to the nation that they help in beautifying the country (antithetical) and also be a cause for reducing population in a very different, indirect slow poisoning kind of way, by spreading various infectious diseases through their divine act of "EXPECTORATION"
Expectoration. .?? Well its a more dignified term for spitting..
There seems to be at least 5 persons in every street who actively spit saliva, paan and other substances on the road. Just imagine how much they are affecting the people around them. We keep talking about air pollution, water pollution etc.. etc.. But do we always take note of something only when it enlarges and becomes epidemic?
oh. . please think about this. . how it could affect the person near you when you spit..?
How sickening and disgusting it could be for them.?
As a matter of fact, some parts of the world (excluding India Specifically) consider such act of spitting rude and a social taboo. Well that's in the other parts of the world. Why should we bother . . isn't it??
When are we people going to change?
People are always eager to criticize others, more often the western countries are criticized for their culture,
but we rarely give attention to some of the good things that those countries follow, be it keeping their city clean or all the more penalizing for spitting.
We are trying to adapt to the western lifestyle with the ever increasing IT companies, with that i would also like to plead to each vibrant and unique citizen of this beautiful motherland to at least give some reasonable thought and try to follow some cleanliness measures as of the western countries. Spitting if uncontrollable should be done on the corner of the road and not on the passer-by or in the middle of the road.
For the punch, Keep your surroundings Clean, or you will become Lean, with Disease and life then is no Ease
Seriously Annoyed,
Divya Venkatesan
